iPhone bug affects Truphone users, fix available
Submitted by JD on Fri, 08/21/2009 - 08:18According to an email sent to customers some users are now seeing the wrong application icon or the Truphone application icon not showing at all under the iPhone 3.0 Software Update.
"Apple have not released a fix for the bugs yet, so if you are experiencing this Apple bug for any application, not just when Truphone is affected we recommend the following fix:
Step 1 - Go to the Applications section of iTunes on your iPhone/iPod touch and un-tick the affected application
Step 2 - Sync your iPhone / iPod touch
Step 3 - Go back into the Applications section of iTunes on your iPhone/iPod touch and re-tick the relevant application
Step 4 - Sync your iPhone/iPod Touch again
This should resolve this bug, however results are not guaranteed, as this is not an official Apple bug fix."

Intel & Apple to partner on iPhone 3?
Intel is hoping Apple will select its chips for inclusion in the third version of the iPhone, according to online reports.
Intel is known to be developing a new processor for mobile devices called Moorestown, the second-generation processor after the recently announced Atom chip.

Three NEW iPhone models for 2009
Three new iPhones could be coming in 2009. The first is a 32G iPhone in multiple colours that is likely to arrive during the next six months. Next up is a lower-cost handset based on the 2.5G iPhone, which is targeted for China and India. Third is a smaller version – about one-third the size of the 3G iPhone – that costs 40% less and is also likely before year-end.
